NAHUI OLLIN

Forget hippie-bags! Woven bags from Nahui Ollin (pronounced:- now-we-oh-lean) are the trend of tomorrow. Designer Olga Abadi discovered the outstanding braiding technique at a cultural festival in Mexico in 2003 and was immediately convinced by these colourful and unique purses. Environmentally friendly and highly fashionable, these bags are the top trend in Hollywood and Europe and can even be already seen in a few US TV series. Each Nahui Ollin article is hand manufactured from up to 1,500 pieces of paper in Mexico and consists entirely of recycled materials. In addition, the laminated purses are waterproof and easily cleanable.
