Since 2003, designer Olga Abadi has been exciting consumers with an environmentally friendly alternative in fashion bags. Up to 1,500 scraps of paper are used to make each Nahoui Ollin bag a true designer bag. Made from discarded prints, chocolate bar wrappers, newspapers, magazines or barcodes these bags are handmade using an ancient Mayan folding technique from Mexico. Each bag is unique and packs a real WOW effect!

Designer Olga Abadi discovered the outstanding braiding technique at a cultural festival in Mexico in 2003 and was immediately convinced by these colourful and unique purses. Environmentally friendly and highly fashionable, these bags are the top trend in Hollywood and Europe and can even be already seen in a few US TV series. Each Nahui Ollin article is hand manufactured from up to 1,500 pieces of paper in Mexico and consists entirely of recycled materials. In addition, the laminated purses are waterproof and easily cleanable.
